How to add Skylift to your GA4, Google Tag Manager, Search Console, Google Business Profile, and other marketing dashboards.
What we need
Analytics access lets us see how your site is performing: traffic, conversions, search rankings, and tag firing. If you already have these tools set up, adding Skylift takes a few minutes per platform.
If you don't have analytics set up yet, no worries, we configure GA4, GTM, and Search Console as part of every website build. These guides are for clients who already have existing data they want us to see.
Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
- Go to analytics.google.com and sign in.
- Click the gear icon (Admin) in the bottom-left corner.
- Under "Account settings," click "Account Access Management."
- Click the blue "+" button in the top-right, then "Add users."
- Enter the email: [email protected]
- Set the role to "Editor," this lets us view data and configure events without changing account ownership.
- Check "Notify new users by email" and click "Add."
Note: Editor access lets us set up goals, create audiences, and build reports. We can't delete the property or change billing. If you'd prefer read-only access, select 'Analyst' instead.
Google Tag Manager (GTM)
- Go to tagmanager.google.com and sign in.
- Click "Admin" in the top navigation.
- Under "Container," click "User Management."
- Click the blue "+" button, then "Add user."
- Enter the email: [email protected]
- Set the container permission to "Publish," this lets us deploy tracking tags and conversion pixels.
- Click "Invite."
Note: GTM access is important because it lets us install your Facebook Pixel, Google Ads conversion tag, and any other tracking without touching your site code directly.
Google Search Console
- Go to search.google.com/search-console and sign in.
- Select your property (domain or URL prefix) from the dropdown.
- Click "Settings" in the left sidebar.
- Click "Users and permissions."
- Click "Add user."
- Enter the email: [email protected]
- Set the permission to "Full," this lets us submit sitemaps, request indexing, and view search performance data.
- Click "Add."
Note: Search Console shows us which keywords your site ranks for, which pages get clicks, and any crawl errors Google is finding. This data is critical for local SEO work.
Google Business Profile (GBP)
- Go to business.google.com and sign in.
- Select your business from the list.
- Click "Users" (or the people icon) in the left menu.
- Click the "+" button to add a new user.
- Enter the email: [email protected]
- Set the role to "Manager," this lets us update your listing, respond to reviews, and post updates.
- Click "Invite." We'll accept within a few hours.
Note: Manager access lets us optimize your GBP listing and set up review automation. You stay the Primary Owner, which means you can always revoke access or transfer the listing.
Meta Pixel / Conversions API
- If you already have a Meta Pixel installed, grant us access through Meta Business Manager (see the Ad Accounts guide).
- When you share your ad account as a partner, Pixel access comes with it.
- If you need to share just the Pixel without ad account access: go to Business Settings > Data Sources > Pixels, select your Pixel, and click "Assign Partners."
- Enter our Business Manager ID (we'll provide this via email).
Note: If you don't have a Meta Pixel yet, we'll create one and install it via GTM as part of your site build or ad campaign setup.
Other dashboards
- For any other marketing dashboard (SEMrush, Ahrefs, CallRail, call tracking, CRM reports), email us at [email protected].
- Most platforms support adding a user by email. We'll tell you exactly what role and email to use.
- If the platform doesn't support shared access, a monthly PDF export or read-only link works too.
Note: We never ask for your personal login credentials. If a platform doesn't support multi-user access, we'll find a secure workaround.
